Specialists in energy savings:
Geothermal energy and geothermal probes
Geothermal power is one of the most promising
alternative energy sources for a variety of reasons;
- it is practically inexhaustible
- provides almost non-existent pollution levels
- has no environmental impact
- is very economical
Geothermal energy is transferred to the
earth's surface through convection movements deriving
from magma and water circulating deep below the ground.
For decades, this energy source has been a consolidated
reality in countries such as the United States, Switzerland, France
and Germany.
In Italy, FitImpianti is now among the very first companies
promoting its use.
Geothermal probes
Geothermal probes are used to heat
and cool homes, shopping centers and
industrial complexes. A geothermal
probe allows for energy savings
in excess of 50% compared to the
the best gas boilers on the market - and it
does this without emitting polluting
substances into the atmosphere.
The installation of a geothermal probe in
a newly built home entails an initial
investment similar to that required for
installing a high technology methane gas
system. Furthermore, a geothermal installation's
lifecycle can last at least 50 years, whereas
other more traditional systems do not exceed 20 years.
Solar Energy and Solar Panels
The sun is the cleanest and most
abundant energy source existing on the
earth's surface.
The most widespread application
used is a solar collector (commonly
known as a solar panel),
employed for the production
of hot sanitary water.
A one square meter panel can bring up to
300 litres of water a day to a temperature of 60°C.
This depends on atmospheric conditions as well
as on the type of collector.
When suitably combined to a heat pump or
low temperature energy system, a panel can significantly supplement
a traditional heating system.
Solar installations are clean, eco-friendly, and operate silently,
producing kilowatt hours without emitting polluting substances
into the atmosphere. This in turn brings about a reduction in
greenhouse gases and environmental pollution.
And a good solar installation runs efficiently
even during winter months.
